Schematic Subprocessors
Last Updated: 2026-04-20
This page lists the third-party subprocessors that Schematic engages to process Customer Data in connection with the Services, as defined in our Data Processing Addendum.
Current Subprocessors
| Subprocessor | Legal Entity | Purpose | Location | Categories of Personal Data Processed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Amazon Web Services, Inc. | Cloud infrastructure and hosting | United States (us-east-1) | All Customer Data |
| ClickHouse Cloud | ClickHouse, Inc. | Event and analytics data storage | United States (AWS us-east-1) | Customer event and usage data, which may include end-user identifiers |
| Datadog | Datadog, Inc. | Application observability, logging, and monitoring | United States | Log data, which may include Customer Data |
Each subprocessor is bound by a written agreement containing data protection obligations substantially equivalent to Schematic's obligations under the Data Processing Addendum.
Notification of New Subprocessors
Schematic publishes notice of any new Customer Data subprocessor on this page at least thirty (30) days before that subprocessor begins processing Customer Data, and sends an email to all subscribers of our notification list at the same time.

Customers who designate a notice contact in their Schematic account settings will also receive direct email notification. Customers have the right to object to a new subprocessor as described in Section 6.2 of the Data Processing Addendum.
What does and does not trigger notice
A new Subprocessor triggers notice under Section 6.2 of the DPA. The following do not trigger notice:
- Changes to the internal vendors or infrastructure used by an existing subprocessor.
- Changes to an existing subprocessor's corporate structure, affiliates, or legal entity that do not change the nature or location of processing.
- Addition of a subprocessor's capability in a region not used to process Customer Data.
Emergency changes
Schematic may engage a new subprocessor without prior notice where necessary to respond to an urgent security incident, service continuity event, or legal compliance requirement. In that case we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
Service Data Recipients
Separately, Schematic uses additional third-party services (such as analytics, session replay, and CRM tools) to process Service Data — information about how authorized users interact with the Schematic product. Schematic acts as an independent controller for Service Data, not as a processor. The recipients of Service Data are disclosed in our Privacy Policy and are not subject to the change-notification commitment above.
